After her emergency petition was denied earlier this month, Mary-Kate Olsen has reportedly filed for divorce from her husband Olivier Sarkozy again.
To help stop the spread of Covid-19, New York courts had been closed for all hearings that were not considered to be emergencies or immediately essential - but after eight weeks, they have now reopened.
Mary-Kate had originally filed an emergency petition on April 17 as she claimed Olivier was forcing her out of home. However, the order was denied by Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Michael Katz, who ruled that it wasn’t an essential matter. ‘The original filing was rejected by the New York County Clerk because they did not follow the essential matter procedure,’ New York courts spokesman
