A huge shark descended on two British fishermen and circled their boat in a chilling confrontation. The 8ft-long beast spent five minutes stalking their 19ft vessel off the Channel Islands.
Paris Broe-Bougourd and Brandon La Touche filmed the 300lbs (136kg) monster as it descended and nudged the boat. The Porbeagle shark, believed to be a female and a relative of the great white, eventually lost interest and swam away.
The incident happened 12 miles off Cobo Bay in Guernsey while the two men were fishing for pollock. Brandon, 23, is a commercial fisherman and is permitted to carry on working during the coronavirus lockdown.
