An MP has urged the public not to let coronavirus stop them getting their 'bits and bobbins' checked as she revealed she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Former Sports Minister Tracey Crouch announced made the announcement on social media. She encouraged people concerned about any development to get it checked out - and not feel that they should not because of Covid-19 pressures.
Writing on social media the Chatham and Aylesford MP said: "Unfortunately I have been diagnosed with breast cancer. "It came as a bit of a surprise but it has been caught early and I'm now being treated and supported by the excellent team at the Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS trust. "It does mean that it looks unlikely I will physically be in Parliament
