A mum has warned other parents to be aware of the "terrifying" Kawasaki disease after her daughter spent two weeks in hospital with it last year.
Alice Horler, from Bath, said her daughter Bonnie Crocker, now three, was one of the first children to have contracted the disease.
The little girl spent two weeks in isolation at the Royal United Hospital, Somerset Live reports. While Bonnie has made a full recovery, scores of UK and US children have been affected by this rare inflammatory illness, which is now being linked to coronavirus.
