A mum has created a clever way to keep her kids entertained and restore a sense of normality during coronavirus lockwon. Megan Paley, 31, made a DIY McDonald's takeaway complete with fries in a home-made box, chicken nuggets, burgers and ketchup.

The mum, from Leeds, wanted to keep her children feeling upbeat and wouldn't let the lockdown stop her kids from enjoying a treat.

Megan told money-saving community  LatestDeals.co.uk : “My son Ben, 10, is autistic and loves a McDonald's. I decided to make DIY McDonald's to give my children a small bit of their normal lives back. "I looked up a template for the chip box online and copied it and coloured it in.
