An upset mum-of-16 has said that she regrets not stocking up on supplies during the coronavirus panic buying. Writing an open letter to those who did manage to stockpile, Aussie mum Jeni Bonell says that she finds stockpiling “deeply disturbing and upsetting”.
Jeni has 16 children – that’s enough to form her own rugby team, plus a spare player – aged between 29 and four. She usually spends £232 on her weekly grocery shop and this includes 24 loo rolls and 36 litres of cows milk.
The mum, from Queensland, Australia, wrote the letter as a group with mum-of-nine, Claire Hooker, mum-of-seven, Georgina Pritchard, and mum-of-four, Jessica Hood.
