New Brunswick Premier Blaine Higgs and chief public health officer Dr. Jennifer Russell will be holding a press briefing Thursday afternoon to provide an update on the spread of COVID-19.
The province announced 11 new cases on Wednesday, bringing New Brunswick’s total to 81. Russell said the new cases are in the age range of 20s to 60s.
Of the 81 cases, 43 are travel-related, 22 are close contacts of confirmed cases, three cases are from community transmission and 13 cases remain under investigation.
