TRENTON, N.J. - New Jersey will soon no longer require students and school employees to wear masks, according to the New York Times.
The report adds that the mandate will go away the second week of March, marking the first time since the start of the pandemic that New Jersey Districts will be permitted to allow students and teachers to stop wearing masks.Murphy is expected to officially announce the change during his regularly scheduled COVID-19 briefing at 1 p.m.
