A new East Kilbride initiative to help local people access the services they need in the wake of the pandemic has been officially launched. ‘Connected East Kilbride’ is a joint initiative established by Older and Active in East Kilbride (OAEK), East Kilbride Citizen’s Advice Bureau (CAB) and Kilbryde Hospice with support from management EK, East Kilbride.The information and support point will be set up in the town centre after three East Kilbride charities successfully accessed Scottish Government funding to support local people and communities as they recover from the impact of COVID-19.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
