Office of the Governor:President Signs Disaster Declaration for Hawai‘iToday, President Trump granted a Major Disaster Declaration for the State of Hawai‘i triggering the release of federal funds to help communities recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.

The declaration is in effect from Jan. 20, 2020 and is continuing. The disaster declaration provides assistance to individuals and households and for emergency work and repair or replacement of disaster-damaged facilities.
