The number of people to receive a Covid-19 vaccination in Northern Ireland will pass half a million today. That's a third of the total number health authorities north of the border aim to vaccinate.
This milestone has been reached in just under 12 weeks after County Down nurse Joanna Sloan became the first person on the island of Ireland to receive a Covid-19 vaccine.
The Stormont Department of Health's latest vaccine update yesterday revealed that more than 491,000 people had received a first dose, with nearly 32,000 also receiving a second dose.
