No new coronavirus deaths in Greater Manchester hospitals for second day running

There were two further deaths in the North West but none were in our region. So far, 5,816 people have died in Greater Manchester's hospitals after testing positive for coronavirus.

Nationally, a further 18 people who tested positive for Covid-19 have died, bringing the total number of confirmed deaths in hospitals in England to 86,194.

Patients were aged between 58 and 95 years old, NHS England said. All except one (age 62) had known underlying health conditions.
