Over 70 J-Pop Acts Share Rare Tracks to Support Closed Music Venues

Japanese rock band toe joined forces with over 70 artists and groups to support small music venues around the country that have been forced to shut down due to the coronavirus pandemic.The four-man instrumental band has launched the MUSIC UNITES AGAINST COVID-19 website that enables fans to help out their preferred local music venue -- called "live house" in Japanese - - by donating money in exchange for access to a folder with music by the participating acts, including Ringo Sheena's Tokyo Jihen, Denki Groove's Takkyu Ishino, Scha Dara Parr and many more.The 70 acts involved in this project all donated their music for free to support the cause.
