Pamela Hutchinson has died after suffering with her health in recent years. News of her death was released on the weekend, two days after she died on Friday September 18.

Pam shot to fame on the Grammy Award–winning soul/R&B vocal group The Emotions, who had a huge hit with The Best Of My Love.

The Emotions was a family band; Pam was the sister of Wanda, Sheila and Jeanette Hutchinson and cousin of Theresa Davis. The announcement was released on the official Facebook for The Emotions.

It read: "In loving memory, we are saddened to announce the passing of our sister, Pamela Rose Hutchinson, on Friday, September 18, 2020. "Pam succumbed to health challenges that she'd been battling for several years.
