Gov. Wolf and other officials asserted that life will not immediately return to normal even if the state reopens. PHILADELPHIA - Pennsylvania's confirmed cases of the coronavirus reached 42,050 confirmed cases, with 1,597 confirmed deaths on Sunday.

The rise in cases is attributed to 885 additional positive cases of COVID-19 and 47 new deaths in the state.
