There's a lot of discoveries to be made during lockdown but we bet you didn't think it would be this. Kinder Eggs have long been a top choice amongst kids - and adults if we're honest - as who can resist chocolate AND a toy to play with afterwards?

But it turns out there is a very specific reason for that little yellow capsule inside the hollow milk chocolate egg with an inner layer of milk-flavoured cream.

The Mirror reports that Sullivan Poulter took to the Children of the 1980s Facebook page to share his latest discovery and it has left many realising that every day is a school day.
