Little Mix star Jade Thirlwall opened up about feeling frustrated at the group’s lack of success in the US.The 27-year-old singer, along with bandmates Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock and Jesy Nelson, said they need ‘that one song’ to be able to crack the US market.‘In America, we’ve done so much hard work – back and forwards, months at a time, doing the rounds,’ she began.‘We’ve got the fan base but it just doesn’t click. It’s a really bitter pill to swallow that we’re not humongous over there.’Until they have the hit US radio song, ‘it’s not going to happen’, Jade believes.
