Boy allegedly steals school bus, leads police on street chase before crashing
allegedly stealing a school bus and leading officers on a chase, which ended in a crash. Around 11:30 a.m., the bus hit a gas line and then a tree before authorities surrounded it to take the boy away, according to WBRZ in Baton Rouge.Police said the bus had no keys in the ignition and only required a push-to-start button.An eyewitness reportedly managed to record the incident on video. There was, however, no major damage or injuries initially reported at the scene. The child was allegedly seen flipping his middle finger to officers as he drove past them with the bus.

Mother in custody after 5-year-old boy drowned inside West Philadelphia home, police say
WEST PHILADELPHIA - Police say a 5-year-old was killed inside a West Philadelphia home and his mother has been taken into custody. It happened on the 4800 block of Pine Street around 10:30 p.m. Monday.Police say the boy had been home alone with his mother, 40, at the time of the incident. When the father arrived home, investigators say he found the boy drowning in the bathtub and the mother suffering from a stab wound to the arm that is believed to have been self-inflicted. Chief Inspector Scott Small says the boy was also found with a laceration on his neck.Police say the boy's father returned home to find him in the tub.
