A new postcode checker has launched which will let you see which coronavirus restrictions your area is under. The rule changes, which are part of Boris Johnson's new ‘three-tier’ lockdown system, mean the local rules may be set to change where you are.

The new three-tier system of coronavirus restrictions in England was announced by Boris Johnson on October 12. Different areas of the country are being placed under either a medium, high or very high risk.

While those at medium risk – tier one – retain most of the previous rules, others have been placed into tier two, banning mixing of people from different households indoors.
