Scott, who has a fortune estimated by Forbes at $59 billion, donated $133.5 million to Communities in Schools (CIS), a national organization that works with 3,000 schools nationwide to support at-risk students by providing them with resources and assistance to help them excel in school."With the pandemic continuing to interrupt public education and students’ lives, the work of Communities In Schools has never been more important," Elaine Wynn, chairman of the CIS Board of Directors said in a statement.
