Phil has now opened up about how speaking out helped him in a poignant post online. The 58-year-old made his comment on Twitter as he backed a fundraising campaign by a mother who lost her son to suicide.
He re-shared a post from Alison Watson whose son Morgan tragically took his own life on May 17. Phillip shared a link to Alison's JustGiving page who as she tries to raise money for mental health charity Guernsey Mind.
