Boris Johnson’s father Stanley is set to get his second dose of the coronavirus vaccine today, he has said. The former MEP, who turned 80 five months ago, said he was “very much looking forward to” following up his first jab on December 18.
Asked if he was due for his second dose today he told ITV’s Good Morning Britain: “Indeed I am. “I had my first jab on December 18, I guess three weeks on is today, and I’m very much looking forward to it. “I don’t have to go far, and I think I’m going to be fancy free after that.” It was not immediately clear why Mr Johnson Sr was receiving his second dose despite a change in government policy about dose timings.
