Pub owners have been told they must keep their blinds and windows open as police chase landlords still failing to follow lockdown rules.
Officers in Bury took to social media to ask that anything covering the bar areas in local venues should be "removed immediately" so that they can be seen from the street.
It comes as police continue to receive reports about business flouting the latest coronavirus regulations. All pubs, bars and restaurants have been told they must close their doors to avoid people gathering in one place but it is believed that some rogue landlords may still be running hidden lock-ins.
