A riding school in West Lothian is fundraising to get through the coronavirus crisis.Phoenix Riding School in West Calder has had no revenue coming in since they had to stop classes in March and they are asking people to help them keep the service alive.Thirty-four-year-old Alison Clinton built the school up alongside her dedicated staff and is now anxious about whether they can make it through the pandemic with no money coming in.She explained: “I set this place up myself about six years ago, with a little help from my parents at the beginning, but it is my own school and my life’s passion.
We started off with six horses, if that, but we slowly built it up and now we have 16 horses and that number works well with the customers I have.” Ali
