Katy Perry has had a number of hits, won numerous awards and is adored by her fans. And the American pop sensation, 35, who is expecting her first child with actor Orlando Bloom, has bravely spoken out on how her mental health was affected when her last album Witness was not well-recieved.
Witness charted in the Billboard 2000 and her first hit Chained To The Rhythm on the album was a hit but her other tracks did not do so well.
The Roar hitmaker, who is set to release her new album in August, has now revealed that after her last flopped that she became "clinically depressed" and "insecure." Katy spoke about the dark time during an interview on Australia's Channel Seven's The Morning Show on Friday.
