Premier League footballers and celebrities are snapping up protection dogs costing up to £75,000 in a bid to boost security at their homes.

Leicester City midfielder Hamza Choudhury has become the latest player to invest in two guard dogs, buying a Belgian Malinois and a German Shepherd.

And Spurs star Dele Alli has been in contact with two firms after his home was targeted in a knifepoint raid. But it’s no surprise British celebrities are turning to these fearsome and highly trained animals to keep them safe.
