Before the portal opens Friday morning, Publix is making some changes to its COVID-19 vaccination appointment system with the goal of making the experience better for patrons.
Normally, Publix would open its portal at 6 a.m. but now that time has been pushed back one hour to 7 a.m. Logging onto the website before that will not improve the chances of securing a slot, so residents are encouraged to wait until then.
