Almost a quarter of the world's population will not get the Covid-19 vaccine until 2022, new research shows. Experts from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health in Baltimore, US, said high-income countries have already secured billions of doses, but there is still uncertainty around access for middle and low-income countries.
They say that of the 48 Covid-19 vaccines currently approved or in development, 13 manufacturers have entered into agreements for at least 7.48 billion doses.
