Raith Rovers have extended 14 soon-to-be out of contract players’ deals until the end of July. The League 1 champions have bucked the trend after Ross County, Dunfermline and Queen of the South all confirmed they’d be releasing the bulk of their squads when their deals run out in the next few weeks.
Raith placed their players on furlough when the coronavirus crisis stopped football in its tracks two months ago. And the Kirkcaldy club - preparing for a season in the Championship after pipping Falkirk to the title in the curtailed campaign - say they will help those players whose deals are due to end in the coming weeks with the security of income for another couple of months.According to their squad list 14 players were due to come to the
