American rapper Fred the Godson has revealed he is suffering from the coronavirus on social media. The hip-hop star, 35, posted a selfie on Monday of himself wearing an oxygen mask in hospital on Twitter.
He captioned the picture: "I’m in here with this Covid-19 s**t! Please keep me in y’all prayers!!! #GodIsGreat " The star, real name Fredrick Thomas, was born in the South Bronx, New York, and rose to fame for his XXL Freshman cover with artists Mac Miller, Kendrick Lamar, and Meek Mill.
Fred won Best Male Rapper at the 2007 Underground Music Awards. He has also collaborated with other hip-hop titans such as Diddy and Pusha T.
