Back in April, the Morning Show actress offered teachers around the globe a chance to win a free dress through a Draper James giveaway in an attempt to champion the world’s educators during the coronavirus pandemic.

Unfortunately, many of the teachers felt like big losers when they realized only a fraction of participants who applied to the giveaway would actually be getting a dress!

Now, three women have filed a class-action lawsuit against the Oscar winner and the apparel company she founded for benefiting off of the giveaway while most teachers walked away empty handed. R

PHILADELPHIA - No one was injured after a gunman opened fire on a Philadelphia police officer during a shootout Wednesday afternoon in Germantown.Philadelphia Police Sergeant Eric Gripp told reporters that two plainclothes officers in an unmarked car were patrolling the 4800 block of Keyser Street around 2 p.m. when they came upon a shootout between a 23-year-old and a 20-year-old.
