Ricky Hatton warns Mike Tyson to rethink boxing comeback after John Fury fight offer

It would be a ‘tragedy’ if Mike Tyson suffered a deterioration of his physical and mental health due to punches to the head during his boxing comeback, according to Ricky Hatton.

The self-proclaimed 'Baddest Man on the Planet' recently revealed that he is training for a return to boxing and wants to take part in four-round exhibition fights for charity.

Tyson, 53, has since had offers to take on New Zealand rugby legend Sonny Bill Williams and was even called out by Tyson Fury's dad John - who said he would be willing to 'die' in the ring.

But Hatton, whose own attempted comeback ended in a underwhelming defeat against Vyacheslav Senchenko following a three-year absence in 2012, has urged Tyson to reconsider his plans to return.
