Rob Reiner took to Twitter to accuse President Donald Trump of causing people in New York to die amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.

The actor and director is rarely shy about posting his political opinions on social media. He’s previously criticized Trump, his administration and his followers throughout the president’s term in office.

On Tuesday, he took to Twitter to lambaste Trump’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic in New York. “There’s no other way to put this: Donald Trump is causing people in NY to DIE,” Reiner wrote.

The declarative tweet was then retweeted by fellow Hollywood Trump critic, Cher. On Thursday, Reiner followed up with a message of support for New York Gov.
