Robert Pattinson’s The Batman has been delayed by four months. The superhero film was set to arrive in June 2021 but will now be released on October 1, studio Warner Bros said.
The Batman is directed by Matt Reeves and will see British star Pattinson make his debut as the Dark Knight. Filming began in Glasgow earlier this year and the movie also stars Zoe Kravitz, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis and Colin Farrell.
The delay was part of a wider reshuffle by Warner Bros, with cinemas closed in both the US and Europe. Sopranos prequel film The Many Saints Of Newark was set to launch in September this year, but has been pushed back to March 2021.
