Roy Horn, of legendary Las Vegas performance duo Siegfried & Roy, has died aged 75 from coronavirus. A rep for the legendary Las Vegas magician confirmed that Roy passed away from ‘complications of Covid-19’ this morning.

The performer first tested positive for coronavirus on April 28 but was thought to be responding well to treatment. Roy found fame with Siegfried Fischbacher through their widely popular magic and animal show in Las Vegas at the Mirage hotel in the nineties.

Siegfried Fischbacher issued a statement reading: ‘Today, the world has lost one of the greats of magic, but I have lost my best friend.
