The Royal Family have returned to work today - at a safe distance - carrying out their first engagements in person since coronavirus lockdown was introduced.
Prince Charles, Camilla and the Duke of Cambridge were out and about for the first time since government restrictions were introduced, using the opportunity to thank NHS staff for their work during the pandemic.
The royals have been working throughout the pandemic, but have carried out their engagements virtually over video call. They said it was great to be back, but admitted they missed shaking hands.
