Rutherglen and Cambuslang remains the region's covid hotspot after 2.25 cases were recorded for every 1000 residents last week.
The rate of new cases in the Hamilton area (1.88) and East Kilbride and Avondale (2.14) was lower due to the larger populations, with the rate in Hamilton falling below two per thousand for the first time since September.In Clydesdale, less than one case for every thousand residents (0.87) was recorded for the first time since September.Uddingston and Gardenside was the neighbourhood which saw the most new coronavirus cases across South Lanarkshire last week, at 32.That equates to 4.78 cases per 1000 residents, however Burnbank South and Chantinghall - which had 19 new cases last week - had the highest rate of new.
