Ryanair flight refunds: More than eight in 10 passengers still waiting for money back

Ryanair is the worst major airline for refunding passengers who requested a refund after their flight was cancelled during the coronavirus pandemic, a survey has found.

A survey by Which? reported that more than more than four-fifths (84 percent) are still waiting for to get their money back.

Under EU law, customers should receive a refund within seven days. But just five percent of them received their cash back within that timeframe, according to a poll.

Some 84 percent have still not had their money returned as requested compared with 23 percent of British Airways customers and 19 percent of Jet2.com passengers.
