Sam Smith finds motivation ‘incredibly difficult’ during coronavirus lockdown after ‘meltdown’ backlash

Sam Smith has opened up about keeping motivated amid the coronavirus lockdown. The singer – who has blessed us all with a Demi Lovato collaboration – hit back at backlash as trolls dragged them over their lockdown meltdown recently.

And the 27-year-old revealed how they were coping with social distancing measures. During a chat with Zoe Ball on her BBC Radio 2 Breakfast show, they said: ’I’m good, I’m with my sister.

I’m in London so I’m close to all my family, which is great.  ‘I think the hardest part of this is sitting back and not doing anything, whilst everyone is doing so much.’ Sam also revealed they had turned to exercise, as they find it tough to keep motivated. ‘Motivating myself is incredibly difficult because I’m a true foodie
