Sam Smith has revealed that they will not be releasing their new album amid the coronavirus. The Stay with Me hitmaker, 27, has rethought the decision to launch the music as they believe the title of the work could be deemed 'tasteless' due to the outbreak of Covid-19.
The album was planned to be dropped this week and Sam told of his plans to change the name of the album because it includes the word "die" as he promoted their new song I'm ready that features American artist Demi Levato on Radio 2 on Friday morning.
Sam told host Zoe Ball they now want to rethink the name and artwork for the music as they understand the importance of being "sensitive" to fans.
