Samantha Mumba has dedicated an emotional new song to her late father, admitting that it’s been an ‘awful’ year. The singer’s father Peter passed away aged 66 in March.
In an interview on The Six O’Clock Show the 37-year-old talked about the inspiration behind her new single Process and said she wasn’t yet in a place to talk about her father’s death.
Speaking on the show she said it had been an awful year for so many people and that she hopes the song ‘sums up how a lot of people are feeling at the moment.’ ‘I think it’s probably a bit mad to release two different singles two weeks apart but I felt that this song is how I really want to close off the year. ‘And it was important to me personally and hopefully maybe to be uplifting to people
