A carer who moved a pensioner’s buttocks ‘like a mouth’ while making ‘garbled noises’ at a Scots care home has been struck off.
Jill Marina Philip admitted a string of sickening behaviour whilst employed at Balhousie Alastrean Care Home in Tarland, Aberdeenshire, during 2018.
The 53-year-old was also convicted at Aberdeen Sheriff Court in December last year after acting in a threatening and abusive manner towards residents at the home between September and November.
The former carer admitted humiliating residents who were suffering from incontinence by laughing at them on multiple occasions, the Scottish Social Services Council states.She also told a colleague to ‘shoot me’ if she ever ended up like an elderly resident who she had been.
