taxi driver has been forced to self-isolate after a passenger revealed she’d just tested positive for coronavirus. It was more than 20 miles into a journey from Perth to Dundee when he overheard her talking about her diagnosis on the phone and challenged her.

She told her friend: "I don’t know what to do, I have tested positive and I am feart." The horrified driver, in his mid-60s, is now self-isolating at home and being supported by NHS Tayside.His vehicle has been quarantined and is being completely sterilised.

Anddy Lothian, director of Ace Taxis, in Perth, said he was 'absolutely livid', and urged Covid-positive patients NOT to use public transport.He said the customer was travelling from Perth to Dundee in one of his cabs on Sunday.
