Kind-hearted Scots YouTuber has parted with £1000 to help NHS staff get to work during the coronavirus pandemic. Lauren Faulkner, from Edinburgh, took to Twitter to ask her 60,000 followers if they could let her know of any NHS staff who could do with some money to help them with their commute to and from hospitals and health centres.
She said: "Wish I could help more but I want to pay for 5 NHS workers travel too and from work for the next 2 weeks, so comment below and I’ll pick 5 people at random."And she had such a huge response that Lauren decided to pick ten people.
One person who benefited from Lauren's donation was student paramedic Sydney Bradley who said: "Cannot believe @lauzyfaulks has paid for me to get to and from work, this
