The high number of positive Covid-19 tests in Scotland has continued to reach record levels over the festive period, according to the latest figures.
Provisional data released by the Scottish Government revealed 9,360 new cases of the virus were confirmed across the country on Tuesday.
It follows 8,252 cases being reported on Christmas Day with a record high of 11,030 on Boxing Day, and a further 10,562 on Monday.
The totals for each of those days exceeded any daily number previously recorded during the pandemic.
