A total of 20 people have died from coronavirus in the last 24 hours, the Scottish Government has confirmed. The latest figures for Scotland showed that 3,867 new cases had also been identified overnight.However the Government said test and case numbers "are still affected by a data flow issue at the Glasgow Lighthouse laboratory".While the issue has been resolved, they add the "backlog of results has impacted on newly reported cases and tests".
The daily death toll of people who first tested positive for the virus within the previous 28 days now stands at 9,143 since March 2020.
There are currently 926 people in hospital confirmed to have the virus with 65 being treated in intensive care.To date 4,315,802 people have received their first
