The Scottish Government today said that 49 people have now tested positive for the coronavirus in Lanarkshire.It comes as 10 patients across Scotland who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died.The first case in Lanarkshire was confirmed on Sunday, March 8, when it was revealed someone from the Lanarkshire campus of the University of the West of Scotland (UWS), just outside Hamilton, had the COVID-19 strain.The test numbers for March 22 show:■ A total of 8679 Scottish tests have concluded.Of these:■ 8263 tests were confirmed negative■ 416 tests were positive■ 10 patients who tested positive for coronavirus (COVID-19) have died
