The number of people who have died after contracting the coronavirus in Scotland has risen to 222, it has been announced today.That is an increase of two from yesterday.
However First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has revealed these figures may not be fully representative of developments over the weekend as they continue to move to a new process for reporting deaths.The figures have been published this afternoon as part of the Scottish Government's daily update.In the Ayrshire and Arran region another 21 people have tested positive for coronavirus during the last 24 hours.The confirmation means that the total number of confirmed people with the deadly virus in the region has risen to 288.A total of 3,961 people have now tested positive in
