England coach Shaun Wane is among the senior RFL employees to take a significant pay cut amid the coronavirus crisis. The RFL confirmed last week that their executives had voluntarily accepted cuts to their wages.
And the governing body has confirmed to Mirror Sport that former Wigan boss Wane - who was only appointed to the role in early February - is among them.
Wane was handed the reigns ahead of the planned Ashes series with Australia this autumn, which is now in significant doubt. The 55-year-old spoke publicly on Thursday to urge people to stay indoors and ease pressure on the NHS.
