Sportscotland and the Scottish Government have released a list of most sports that Scots can take part in during the first phase of lockdown restrictions being eased.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeonannounced that people can now meet with one other household to take part in daily exercise last week.
The move came as part of the Scottish Government’s plan to lift restrictions on the lockdown - with Scots enjoying new freedoms under Phase One of the plan.
A range of non-contact sports have since been given the green light under the new rules - such as golf, tennis and bowls. Under the new legislation Scots can mix with one other household to take part in these sports outdoors.
